DESCRIPTION:
In this class we will be looking at two methods of power generation in Dempsey's pugilism: the trigger step and the shoulder whirl. We will begin by examining the correct stance as per Dempsey, and then work on building power from these two methods. I want to make sure everyone comes out of this class hitting harder and with more confidence than when they came in. No equipment or prior experience is required. If you have focus gloves, please bring them since we will have to do less sharing of equipment if there is more to go around, and therefore we will get more accomplished. |
