DESCRIPTION:
In this class we will look into some of the various methods and techniques employing the elbow in various historical and modern western martial arts. We will cover the striking aspects, as well as those from the standing, grappling and ground work. We will also go over some methods for training your elbows - “getting your elbows more educated” might be a way of putting this. How to use them, when to use them and so on. In the past we have talked about Sir Thomas Parkyns' School of Elbow Placement... Here is your chance to experience it firsthand, and find out just who Sir Thomas Parkyns was and just what he had to say about using your elbow. |
