DESCRIPTION:
This intensive class will cover the most essential principles of backsword play including effective cutting, control of measure and commanding ones opponent or opponents with the single sword. We will also examine the sword and dagger fight as well as looking at the backsword against the smallsword and the rapier. Participants should bring a fencing mask, jacket, gloves, a steel back/broadsword or a singlestick. If possible, bring a smallsword, rapier, dagger and the heart to face any man. |
