DESCRIPTION:
In this class we will explore the most effective uses of the small sword when placed against an opponent wielding either a cutlass, boarding axe, or combination thereof. This is not a class on duelling with the small sword. This class focuses on the use of the weapon in a battle scenario. The major concepts explored in this class will be: • Guards • Timing • Measure Requirements: Mask and Jacket. Small sword (Not a foil or épée- if you do not have a small sword, a 38" dowel will suffice). A gorget is mandatory - some extras may be available, see the instructor. |
