Wrestling in Fiore's Art:
Actions, Counters & Training Chains
INSTRUCTOR: Bob Charron

ROOM: Wisner/Featherstone
DESCRIPTION:

Using the very first instruction of Fiore's treatise, the template by which the rest of this huge work is to be understood, we will examine how this famous Master illustrated his scholar's techniques, how the players are to escape from them, and how to chain them together into training sequences that best teach by movement and actions in response to specific situations.

After being trained in this way, the scholar is then able to reflexively execute the technique when it is appropriate.

Equipment: Loose fitting clothing, wrestling shoes only (or none at all). Be prepared to fall to the ground and to take the greatest care with your partner.
