Fundamental Principles of Longsword

DESCRIPTION:

This class will cover the core principles of Longsword use, and will centre on a few important guard positions, and how to use them to generate attacks and defences. The focus will be on the underlying mechanical principles of each action. One or two core tactical concepts will also be presented, in the context of using these guards. The techniques covered will include cuts, thrusts, and some deflections.
