Italian Rapier of Nicoletto Giganti (1606)

DESCRIPTION:

It can be said that Time is the kernel of success in Italian rapier. Multiple chapters from Giganti's text will be explored to find, learn and manipulate the 'time' of the fight. In this practical approach, we will prove the sword almost incidental. Feints and Bringing the Left Hand will also be included.

Please bring a mask, gorget, jacket or doublet, gloves and rapier.

Note: neither of the classes I am offering this year are prerequisites for the other, however taking both will provide a more complete view.
