DESCRIPTION:
Learning to read and comprehend the adversary's timing is essential to the success of any combative encounter. Beginning with an introduction to the concept of time within the Spanish school, the class will learn the terminology and the application of technique as it is used in La Verdadera Destreza. The emphasis of this class will be the aggressive aspects of seizing and manipulating the adversary's time. We will also cover the use of this timing as applied against swordsmen of other systems. Students must come prepared with rapiers, jackets, masks, groin protectors for men, breast protection for women, and gloves for both hands. |
