Julian Romero and the Duel Until Sunset
Presenter: Linda McCollum
Julian Romero was a sixteenth century Spanish soldier immortalized in a painting by El Greco, is the hero in a play by Lope de Vega and finds mention in the poem La Araucana, yet today no one seems to know who he was.
An investigation into Julian Romero and his times sheds some light on historical incidents that may have been overlooked until now.
