DESCRIPTION:
Fiore gives us a huge range of techniques
to play with, but if we look carefully, a very simple pattern
of defence and offence emerges. This class will cover the
basic defences at zogho largo and zogho stretto, and show how
all the myriad techniques can be resolved from a few simple
actions. We will then look at how the attacker can deal with
the defender's responses. We will finish with a review of the
4 masters of battle, and watch them emerge spontaneously in an
open drill format. Students will need a longsword simulator
and a mask.
