Master Class
Point & Click: Historic Western Martial Arts applied to the defensive use of a palm-sized flashlight
INSTRUCTOR: Tim Ruzicki

ROOM: TBA
DESCRIPTION:

The Seattle Pugilism Academy is proud to present our Flashlight Defense System -- a modern application of Historic Western Martial Arts using the palm-sized flashlight.  This unique system incorporates martial principles found in systems and weapons such as La Navaja, Pugilism, the Shillelagh, Bartitsu, and Western Combative grappling.  This class will introduce students to the basic framework of the system, and provide actionable material that will be immediately useful in self-defense situations.

Equipment:  No equipment will be necessary, although students with palm-sized flashlights (approximately 4 to 5 inches in length, and no more than 1.5 inches in diameter) are encouraged to bring them.  Students wishing to purchase quality flashlights are encouraged to visit www.surefire.com.

Pre-Requisites:  No prior experience in martial arts is necessary -- all who are interested in learning to defend themselves are welcome!
