Spanish Rapier: Dominating and Controlling the blade

DESCRIPTION:

The proper placement of one's blade on the adversary's blade ensures not only the defense but also the offense. This class will focus on the mechanics of dominating and controlling the adversary’s blade. The student will learn how to dominate the combative encounter from beginning to end. Particular attention will be given to adversaries who refuse and/or evade blade contact.

 

Students must come prepared with jackets, masks, groin protectors for men, breast protection for women, gloves for both hands and rapiers.
