Unique Weapons of the Western Martial Arts
INSTRUCTORS: Craig Johnson

ROOM: TBA
DESCRIPTION:
The diversity of weapons in the martial culture of the medieval and renaissance period was quite large and many examples of unique weapons have survived. The sword did not stand alone as the weapon of choice. The wide variety in weapon design created some interesting developments as weapon makers and combatants strived for an advantage.

This interactive demonstration will explore some of the physical attributes and qualities of these weapons and a discussion of what advantages and disadvantages might arise from their use will be illustrated with examples in action.
