Bob Charron

Bob Charron has been studying Medieval history and warfare for over 20 years.

In the Winter of 2000, he undertook the translation and interpretation of Fiore dei Liberi's martial treatise, the Fior di Bataglia. The work will be published by Chivalry Bookshelf, as of Winter 2002.

He has traveled and taught Fiore's system in the U.S., Canada and Europe, and was invited to become an Acknowledged Instructor of the International Masters at Arms Federation, at WMAW, in 2001.

Bob is constantly working to improve and revise the interpretation in an effort to get closer and closer to this great master's work.

He is the founder of, and instructor for, St. Martins Academy of Medieval Arms in Madison, Wisconsin.
