"The five things you must know": this class will briefly overview the nine masters of the dagger, and then focus on the five elements that Fiore requires: to take away the dagger and strike, to break the arms, to lock and counterlock, and to throw your opponent to the ground. If time permits we will also cover the primary classes of counters to the defence. We will see how as in "one defence, one counter", most of the dagger material can be resolved from a very few basic actions. Students will need a dagger simulator and a mask.
